- Analysis of Relative Importance for Improvement of Cooperative System of Counter Terrorism Related Agencies -

After the enactment of the “Act on the Prevention of Terrorism for Public Protection and Public Safety”, the relative importance analysis was conducted focusing on the opinions of experts on the existing improvement measures for improving the cooperation system between counter-terrorism agencies. In the results of the analysis, first of all, from the results of analyzing the relative importance of the experts on the policy factors for improving the cooperative system between counter-terrorism agencies, the operational factors were given the first priority at 45.8%, and the improvement of legislative and organizational factors was given the second priority at 44.7%. In addition, the environmental factors were presented as the 3rd priority at 9.5%. Next, the results of analyzing the relative importance of sub-policy factors targeting experts are as follows. First, in terms of legislative and organizational factors, 37.8% recognized that the establishment of an agency for cooperation was the top priority, the most urgently needed. Second, in terms of operational factors, the provision of inter-agency coordination measures, such as the integrated command system, was regarded as the first priority at 47.1%. Third, in terms of environmental factors, it was confirmed that the creation of an organizational climate for cooperation was the first priority at 57%.
