- Influence of Social Skills, Maladaptive Self-focused Attention, and Emotional Expressivity on the Incivility Experiences of Nursing Students -
본 연구는 서울시와 충북지역 소재 2개 대학의 간호학과 3,4학년생 총 195명을 편의추출하여, 2018 년 9월부터 11월 사이에 임상실습에서 간호대학생이 경험하는 무례함에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인 하기 위해 수행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구도구는 한국판 사회적기술 평정척도, 부적응적 자기초 점화 척도, 한국 정서표현성 척도, 임상실습에서 경험하는 무례함 한국어판 측정도구를 사용하였으 며, 연구결과, 간호대학생이 경험한 무례함 점수는 5점 만점에 2.10±0.82점이었으며, 여학생, 4학년 생, 나이가 많은 경우, 임상실습기간이 긴 경우, 임상실습교육 만족도가 낮은 경우에 무례함 점수가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 무례함은 부적응적 자기초점화의 하위영역인 자기몰입과 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 정서표현 중 활동성과는 부적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 무례함 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인 은 학년, 임상실습기간, 임상실습교육 만족도, 자기몰입, 활동성으로 나타났으며 각 요인들의 무례함 경험에 대한 총 설명력은 17.9%이었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생이 임상실습 중에 경험하 는 간호사의 무례함에 긍정적으로 대처할 수 있도록 교육프로그램 개발과 그 효과를 확인하는 연구 를 제언하는 바이다.
간호대학생의 사회적 기술, 부적응적 자기초점화 및 정서표현이 무례함 경험에 미치는 영향
This study is a descriptive research conducted to identify the factors affecting the incivility experiences of nursing students in clinical practice. A total of 195 juniors and senior nursing students were selected between September and November 2018 from the nursing department of two universities in Seoul and Chungbuk. Data were collected using K-SSRS, MSFAS, KEES, and K-UBCNE Scale. The results showed that the incivility scores experienced by nursing college students were 2.10 ± 0.82 points out of 5. There was a positive correlation between self-absorption and incivility and a negative correlation between activity, a sub-factor of emotional expressivity, and incivility. Factors influencing incivility experiences were grades, clinical practice period, satisfaction with clinical practice education, activity, and self–absorption, which is a sub-factor of maladaptive self–focused attention. Furthermore, the explanatory power of the factors’ incivility was 17.9%. Based on the results of this study, future research should aim to develop a training program to help nursing students positively cope with incivility during clinical practice.
