- Cross-industry Labor Mobility and Job Satisfaction of Injured Workers -
본 연구는 요양 이후 원직장에 복귀하지 않고 재취업한 산재근로자의 일자리 만족도에 있어 산업 간 노동이동이 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 근로복지공단 제2차 산재보험패널조사 자료 분석 결과 타 직장 재취업 산재근로자가 원직장과 동일 산업군의 직장에 취업하는 경우, 다른 산업군의 직장에 취업할 때보다 맡은 업무에 대한 만족도와 일자리에 대한 열정이 상대적으로 높고 현재 일자리를 그만둘 의향은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 산업 분류를 다르게 하더라도, 산재 근로자들이 새로운 사업장에서 느끼는 업무 적응 시 장애 요인이나 재취업한 근로자의 복지 요인을 통제하여도 일관되게 나타났다. 성향 점수 매칭을 이용한 분석 또한 산업 간 노동이동이 산재근로자의 일자리 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 산업재해보상보험 등 산재근로자 지원제도 개선에 대한 정책적 제언을 한다.
산업 간 노동이동이 산재근로자의 일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향
This study investigates the impact of cross-industry mobility on the job satisfaction of reemployed injured workers who have experienced industrial accidents. By analyzing 2nd worker's compensation insurance panel data, we found that reemployed workers in the same industry as their original job exhibit higher job satisfaction, greater passion for their duties, and less willingness to quit, compared to those who work in different industries from their original job. These findings remain consistent across an alternative industry classifications and even after accounting for control variables, such as demographic characteristics, labor loss, workplace conditions, readaptation and rehabilitation program experience. The use of propensity scores matching to compare job satisfaction between reemployed injured workers in the same industry and those in different industries yielded consistent results. Based on these findings, we suggest policy implications to bolster the support system for injured workers.
