- The Qualitative Study on Experience of Infection Control Education among Clinical Nurses: Focus Group Interview -
본 연구의 목적은 중소병원 임상간호사의 감염관리 교육 경험을 탐색하기 위함이다. 자료는 2021년 10월 4일부터 10월 14일까지 10명의 임상간호사를 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 통해 수집하였다. 심층 인터뷰 및 현장노트를 통해 수집된 자료를 내용분석한 결과, 임상간호사의 감염관리 교육 경험은 1) 코로나바이러스감염증-19로 변화된 형식적인 교육, 2) 이론교육과 실무의 큰 격차, 3) 교육에 소홀할 수밖에 없는 병원의 구조적 문제, 4) 자아성장을 이끈 학습경험, 4개의 주제, 9개의 하위 주제로 구성되었 다. 본 연구 결과 감염관리 교육은 인적 자원과 물리적 · 환경적 요인으로 인해 제한적이긴 하지만 임상간호사는 새로운 지식 습득과 자기 성찰을 통해 자기 성장을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 감염관리 교육을 촉진시키기 위해서는 간호인력 지원과 감염관리 담당 간호사의 역량 강화, 전문성을 포함한 실무교육 제공이 필요하다.
임상간호사의 감염관리 교육 경험에 관한 질적 연구 - 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 -
The purpose of this study was to examine the experience of infection control education of clinical nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals. Data were collected through focus group interviews with 10 clinical nurses from October 4 to October 14, 2021. The content analysis of in-depth interviews and field notes revealed four themes: 1) perfunctory education influenced by COVID-19, 2) gap between theoretical education and practice, 3) structural issues in hospitals that inevitably resulted in education neglect, and 4) educational experience that facilitated self-growth. The study findings revealed that although infection control education was limited due to lack of personal resources and environmental factors, clinical nurses could acquire new knowledge and experience self-growth through self-reflection. The study highlights the need to support nursing staff, strengthen the competency of infection control nurses, and provide practical and professional education to facilitate infection control education.
